Microsoft have recently been demoing Windows Vista and Office 2007. That’s not surprising. What is, is their choice of hardware – an Apple MacBook Pro.
Is this Microsoft trying to be kind to Apple by purchasing their hardware? Or is it them wanting Apple’s hardware design in combination with their software design? Who knows.
Maybe this is the beginning of a better relationship between Apple and Microsoft than there has been in the past. From Microsoft’s point of view, Apple’s move to Intel might sell more Windows licences (as people will have to buy retail copies of Windows, where people usually get Windows bundled), and Windows being on the Mac might sell more Apple hardware. Is there some secret deal going on here?
